Video remastering

Ok, I made my first two videos with DVD footage, but they didn't look particuarly good due to the fact that I ripped and then converted the VOBs into DivX 5.0 via DVD2AVI and then after editing in Microsoft DV I exported the first to WMV and the second to an inordinately large MPEG file, both of which were at 29.97fps and still had interlacing among other visual flaws from time to time.

Now that I know how to get the source footage deinterlaced and have learned how to work with Huffyuv, I'm thinking about taking my original premiere files and reworking them, cutting out the clips as I need them and putting them into Huffyuv and on the timeline in their respective places, since they've all been figured out.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to speed u the or

I would recommend just working from the vob files as is descibed in the guides. This way you wont have to worry about making individual clips with huffyuv, which will surely take you forever to do.
