Gotcha. It's been a while since I edited a video and made a lot of errors in the final stretch (some emberassing some sad)

1. Rendered in Mpeg 2 and totally forgot we're onto MP4 now
2. Forgot to encode original AVI into lagarith
3. Tried to submit to Quu's old Otakuvideo page

Know that feeling. I decided to make a second video last minute to submit. Dunno why but it doesn't feel right just submitting one.
Gimme a minute, I'll make a cool one....

Yeah, ever since joining the SPJA Board of directors I can't submit to Anime Expo which threw my whole editing schedule off, I used to make two or three videos a year - now I'm barely edging out just one.

Saw this question on twitter:
thevat wrote:18 of 64 #awapro entries chose to submit a link instead of uploading by form. We would like to ask, what made you choose this method? #awa
I couldn't get the upload on the form to work, I could select a file, but no "upload" button appeared and I saw no indication that it was happening automatically, so I got annoyed, gave up, and submitted a link without reporting the problem.

Darn. There was no upload button... it was just select the video and click 'submit' on the whole form. I'll make an edit to clarify that, thank you!

Well, all the linked pro entries (those not uploaded through the form) are done. I expected the most trouble with these, but aside from minor issues all were good, and I had no trouble downloading them. For future reference, though it works, Google docs was the most annoying. Dinner time.

so i've gathered from this thread that sharing our pro entries for feedback is not desirable, but what about for masters? since the judges are already predetermined are we allowed to beta-test it out?

The idea behind it is to achieve blind judging as best as possible, not to prevent improving videos. The whole idea about feedback for pro was not sharing with others PARTICIPATING in pro. I'm fairly certain that beta testing is encouraged.
