I'm happy to be back at my old job. Less money, but MUCH better people and I'm happy with what I'm doing.

Finally finished checking the No-Effects category. 2,273 videos and almost over half of them had effects.

There's gotta be a way to... you know... like, crowd source this.

This is because there are people out there that thing effects is just part of editing, so they don't check the box.

I've been running a series of Minecraft servers for several months now. A few weeks ago on the newest one, I setup a small mini-adventure for my players (Brad, Nessephanie, Krat, Prodigy...) to go through and recorded it:

I'm finding that making these Let's Play videos is a lot of fun. It's nice to just be doing something that I love, being able to put it out there for the world to see, and not have to worry about people judging me.

Well, that requires explanation. I know that people will be judging me, but I don't mind being told that I suck at a game, so much as I mind being told that I'm stupid for making recordings of myself playing one. I came from a tiny town, and the only person I knew who was into games/anime like me was my best friend. I could never talk about my interests with anyone else, because everyone else treated me like I was mentally deficient for having them - or that I was an immature child who would never grow up.

I haven't gotten any comments on the videos that I have uploaded yet, but I don't have that same apprehension about them that I did about trying to relate to the other kids years ago. Although I was nervous when I made the first recording, I've since become much more relaxed, and I think I'm going to enjoy continuing to do this.

Everything has been going so well recently, it's almost unreal. I'm really, really happy (: and I haven't felt this kind of happiness in a while.
