)Who can enter?
Anyone can enter the VAST Contest - attendance is not required, but it is preferred. The only exclusion to entry is the
direct staff of KK VAST – all other KK staffers are allowed to submit an entry.What can I enter?
Any video editing project may be entered by its creator(s). Entries are not limited to AMV’s alone – any work of
original production video art is also allowed, which includes (but not limited to) live action, self-animated, and self-shot
video work. The only exception to this is videos entered in previous Kawaii Kon-AMV / VAST contests - which are considered ineligible for entry into the 2013 contest. The maximum number of entries that can be submitted by a single entrant is three videos.Where can I enter?
The only way to enter the VAST Contest is via internet by either through public file transfer sites not requiring
memberships to download or your own web hosting site. No hand-in entries will be accepted at the convention.When can I enter?

Entry deadline is February 1, 2013 by 11:59pm.
Winners will be announced at the conclusion of the KK-VAST Video Art Contest on Saturday, March 16, 2013Why do I enter?
To win, who does not want to win?! A 'Best In Showcase' will be awarded. Other prizes / awards may be included at
the discretion of the KK-VAST staff, judges, guests, or the KK-VAST Coordinator.How do I enter?
Make a video, fill in the entry form, enter it and make sure it gets to us by the entry deadline. Preferred format is
MPEG2 - other formats will also be accepted. Although your entries will be judged in their original submitted
format, they will be converted to MPEG2 on this end for display / archiving purposes. For the most
control over how your video is displayed, it is suggest that you do your own MPEG2 conversion work.Questions?
