Best Collaborative Video (The Slowbro Award)

Postby GloryQuestor » Sun Jan 22, 2012 4:15 pm

(The Slowbro Award) This category recognizes the ability of many people to come together and create a cohesive, traditional music video. Examples include Spoil and I Walk Alone.

(NOTE: there is a separate category for Best Multi-Editor Project. Unlike a MEP, the collaborative videos considered for this category should not feature distinct 'tracks'.)

This is a hard category for me. Personally I'd vote for Fate Matrix and Hold on To That Feeling, but this was also a fantastic piece that I loved:

I think we're all forgetting a major contender, guys.

Am curious, do videos by Galia & Kitty count as collaborative videos? under one username but obviously two people?

Analytic interpretation of this rule:
You must have personally created (or helped in creating) all of the videos in your profile.
Might actually be a DQ for that. (assuming 2 people share an account and have any individual work held therein). I think the account creation guidelines used to be more clear about it.

I consider them one account. They are one user and only use one user together. It would be the same as MJsisters, who view themselves as one creator. They work together on each AMV. So I would not post their work in this thread as "collab." But I don't know about DQ.
