Huzzah!

Tells an alternate story to what happens in the anime; pretty true to the characters' personalities and executed so it's believable. Nice use of text and symbolism to show what's happening without...actually...showing it. <.<

A character profile that relies heavily on storytelling--it goes through a day (perhaps the average day) in Kaiba's life in order to tell you what kind of person he is. He is James Bond!

Very linear. I like how this one twists the lyrics into a different story.

Storytelling here is very subtle, and the meaning sneaks up on you.
Spoiler :
The story is masked by what looks a lot like a montage of similar scenes to repetitive music. That all changes when you hit the climax (2:22) with the lip-sync, which appears to be a first confession of love. The fact that it is the first is significant, because as I said the song is repetitive, and has been cycling through love confessions over and over. This implies that all along Kotomi has been saying she loves Okazaki, but through her actions (hence, the montage)--not verbally, or not within the scope of his hearing. Okazaki didn't know (this is foreshadowed subtly by use of text) until she finally out and said it.

I could be misinterpreting =_= but this is my take.

As overrated as this video is, it's a great example of fantastic story telling as well as great compositing and color correcting skills.

This video being almost 10 years old it's amazing how well it stands tall on todays standards. Clear and unique story telling as well as great usage of effects and multiple sources.

Easily my favorite story video to date. Some people think the cheesy comic book style of story telling is a lazy form of editing. But surrounded by all the color correcting, compositing, and well usage of characters this video makes a strong impact and forces me to rewatch it over and over again.

this is such a wonderful story, and it's told well by the use of the song and editing. It's too perfect! I love it!
It takes you on a roller coaster of emotions, and leaves you happy and thankful.
