Connection attempt failed with "EACCES - Permission denied"

The connection error I keep receiving. I've entered the username, password, and host correctly, I'm sure, but I'm still getting this error.

It's maybe a firewall problem if all information is okay?

a firewall problem would usually be more along the lines of "Couldn't Connect" rather than "Access Denied Sucker"

Well, I just got a new one because I've been trying this all day. It is "clebrujili" right now if you still need to know.

strange...it's a times like this that canceling the upload request and making a new upload request seems to work.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe you're putting a bad port number

Sorry to be a bother, but I'm having problems with the "Upload a Video" page - not FTP, but rather the website itself.

I'm currently trying to upload a new AMV. I have completed all of the necessary information - comments, genre, anime, music - but despite this, when I try to visit the "Upload a Video" page to get the login information, it does not recognise my new entry and says "you have no videos with completed information ready to upload". This isn't the case, so could I please ask if there's any problem with the system?

You had only unconfirmed source in the AMV, confirmed it and it should be okay now.

Ah, okay, thanks. As PSG had been used with a couple of other AMVs I assumed that it had already been approved.

HOTD should be confirmed anime, and it looks like everything in your profile has local links.

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps you set the premiere date to be in the future

Just wanted to pop in and say THANKYOU SO MUCH FOR MAKING THIS GUIDE!

Came back and everything was so different. Still having a few issues since for some reason the program I'm using likes making my files GIANT and I've yet to find a way to get it down to size while making it more viewable than a blur, but hey! I can definitely upload it!

This guide does not match any screen shot of Filezilla!
This is old BS.
I can't do anything! Such a simple thing to try and sign on the ftp server and I can't do it.
Any help would be really appreciated. Leave it to this site to come up with such a bastardized way of uploading an AMV!

If you can get your video to upload then what the hell am I doing wrong for Christ's sake.

I'm looking at the most recent versions of Filezilla, and both the Windows and Mac versions are very close to the screenshots. Are you certain you have the Filezilla Client and not the Filezilla Server?

If you do have the Client, what sort of error message are you seeing? Can you post a screenshot of the interface you are seeing, so we might be able to direct you better?
