Phoenix Comicon 10' AMV Contest (Winners)
What a way to start the new year, the Phoenix Comicon AMV Contest is now OPEN
I will have a FTP server account ready soon and update the submission info
GENERAL CONTEST
Entry deadline is May 1, 2010 and mail in entry's must be post mark
The following categories will be used: Action, Drama, Comedy and Trailer. There will be 1st and 2nd place winners. There will be a Audience's Choice Award. *Trailer Category - using a movie trailer sound track to make your own movie trailer*
You may enter up to two video but each video must be in a different category.
This is a PG-13 rated event. As such, all entries will be expected to follow the official MPAA ratings guidelines which define PG-13. To view the guidelines, please visit http://www.mpaa.org/FlmRat_Ratings.asp.
Video's will not be shorter then 1 min and no longer then 7 min.
No subtitles *funsub* will be allowed in videos, if you want to added your own subtitles that will be fine. You can use video game footage with original subtitles.
You will be allowed to use live-action movie's.
No editor credits will be allowed in videos.
Videos may not include watermarks or logos. (That’s the little emblem in the corner of video, often found on footage taped from TV. It’s generally annoying as much as anything else.) Videos marked with logos such as Sci Fi, or Cartoon Network will be disqualified.
I will accepted MPEG, AVI, MP4, MOV formats

o Your disc must be labeled with your real name and amv title. Please use a permanent marker to write on the disc, rather than a sticky label. Make sure we can read your writing. Make very sure.
o Please write on a blank sheet of paper your

o Entries will not be returned nor can they be picked up at the convention. Do not send your master copy. You won't get it back.
o We will only accept submissions burned on the following media:

When you say no editor credits allowed in the video, does that mean absolutely zero? Or are we allowed to insert titles like "such-and-such show, copyright such-and-such year by such-and-such production company"? Or does it need to be one hundred percent pure untouched video?
