I finally listened to the track... 4 is interesting, 6 is... challenging.

Is there somewhere a list of sources already used, so I don't us Shinkai some source already used?

Being that it's the epicness that it is, I might be interested in actually taking up whatever the last remaining track is, though I haven't listened to any tracks yet..

So, any links for the remaining tracks only? I'm not going to be home until next Wednesday and until I get there I'm making do with a very crappy connection, so I couldn't pausibly download the whole mix.

Thanks a lot. i don't think I'd used any of that for editing, but I have a feeling of the style by now.
Also, whoever reads this and did tracks 3/5/7 - if we can chat somewhere about transitions and style, it'd surely help ;x

Crackers uploaded track 5 a couple pages back when I started mapping out my plan for track 6, and Bauzi PM'd me track 7. If you're looking to race me for the first completed track 6, I'll bet he could send you a copy of it too. Or hell, I could forward his message to you.

4 and 6 are up for grabs (whoever gets done first wins,) you cut the tracks from the mix yourself with 3 seconds lead-in/out. I posted the mix in the past few pages, track times are on the first page.

STatus: Hasn't touched it since nearly a week ago.

It's finals week! Once I'm out for Christmas break in like the next two weeks, I'll be happy to re-edit and have it ready. =)

Please do. I'm happy you're willing to redo yours, I'm not going to be able to do anything with this for another three weeks at least so there's no rush.

Same for anyone else, although at this point it's really a "whatever I get first" type deal. Although if I get a track and someone else gives me their version of the same track and I like the second one better, I'll probably just take that. It's too late now for constructive criticism, unless it's something very simple. I hate for this to be a dictatorship, but I've realized that that's probably the only way this will ever get finished.

I've started ripping my sauce for track 6, but I've got a couple questions about the transition from Kaxi's track 5. First, I think I read somewhere that Shuffle is a widescreen source, and the show I'm using (Stellvia) is fullscreen. Do I need to do anything special to handle this switch, or will it be fine to edit mine in its proper form, since Kaxi's circles seem perfectly round at 720x480?

Second question, is that the plane from Beyond the Clouds flying around the buildings at the end of his track? If so, was Greggus1 using BtC for Track 6 originally and that was the transition they started working on?

There won't be a problem to make transitions from widescreen to regular footage, because there are no letter bars.

Ah puh... I don't remeber the tracks too well. All I can say is:
Kaxi and Greg were working on a transition
Greg and me were not

If nothing works as transition we just make some sort of crossfade with a blending mode and that's it =P

Oh trust me, I can come up with a transition. I was just checking to see if Shuffle had a Shinkai plane.

In other words, my post was pretty pointless except to get people to talk again.
