I'm pretty new to AE and I've watched several tutorials but none of them helped answered my question; which is
How do i add lines around a masked object that i just made? So that the line(s) would move if i was to move the mask around.
Similar to those found in this video

Thanks.

AE makes such things REALLY easy for you. Go to Effects->Generate->Line and apply it to your mask of the layer.
I didn´t watched this video, but I gues that´s what you´re looking for
