Bahahahahaha. No.

Kaxi wrote:Ben, do you want us to filter (smooth, sharpen) our final segment before sending it in, or you'll filter it yourself?

I'll leave that to the discretion of the individual editors. If you think you can get your segment looking great yourself, please, by all means filter it beforehand. If you're not good with AviSynth, and don't know how to filter properly, I'll gladly filter your source for you (or I'll have Kariudo help me, since he's an AviSynth expert ;)).

Either way, when you turn in your final, be sure you let me know if your segment has been run through filtering!

I think i'm going to keep AIM strictly for AMV stuff, that way i at least have an of idea who i'm talking to >_<
I'm going to try to finish my other two MEP tracks before i start on mine, prob be a month or so till i start >_<

But that won't stop me from hanging around and making bad sex jokes.

Ben, do you want us to filter (smooth, sharpen) our final segment before sending it in, or you'll filter it yourself?

I want it so. If you filer afterwards, you´ll never get the same quality unless you don´t have fades, effetc etc.

But yeah I´ll help you with it, if you need it.

Yeah, me too.

Do you say that to me or Sky? Anyway, i think i can handle it myself, and i too think that everyone should filter him/herself.

I've started...I'm actually not that far away from a beta.

I'll be doing my own filtering. I like filtering, so if anyone isn't comfortable with it just send me a little sample and I'll get on it.
I usually know what I'm doing...Trythil hasn't yelled at me recently

I had the same problem in school when they had the old system. You can easily avoid it: Use a download manager.

Works for a-m-v.org downloads, but it sometimes don´t work on this file uploading page. For Uploading... You maybe can resume a connection with a FTP Client and I remeber that someone here wants to offer his server ;)

I recommend:

Temporal Cleaner() <--- Should be in every script
Deen() <--- If there´s still noise
vmToon() <--- Sharpening + thicker black lines. Perfect after MSmooth(), aWarpsharp was yesterday XP , but if you don´t want thicker lines you´ll have to play more with vmToon() parameters. I just can say that I switched from aWarpsharp for the current project to this one and I guess that I´ll stick on it.

There is a reason why VDM changes contrast while playing your scripts. It helps you to see if you still have noise or already fine colour areas.

Uhm... I´ll start with my part in the middle of june. My timeplan:
-Making amv until AniNite deadline
-Editing segment
-Reediting the AniNite version with "effects" (please don´t ask; you might receive a beta in the next week and you´ll see why I might add effects later again)
-The next shitty project
