Mahoromatic - Are there only 12 episodes?

I just saw the 12th episode. Is there any more? Are there plans to make any more? Anyone know?

A second season is indeed in the works. It should be out in Japan soon, and I know if it doesn't get licensed in the meantime, my fansub group is considering taking that on as a project.

Yes, there were only 12 eps of the original Mahoromatic.

Yes, there will be another season.

This was at the end of the ep.19 fansub of Azumanga Daioh I recently watched (put out by NLA & Ishin & A-F) (those folks do one hell of a good job)

Thank god! I was about to get pissed. The ending of episode 12 had very little closure.

Exactly, that's the #1 complaint among nearly everyone I know that's watched the show.

Same deal with Vandread & Hellsing.

Not a trend I'm particularly fond of in the anime industry these days.
"Make us some profit, or we won't finish the show"
