In reality, I do nothing by take raw anime footage and sort it randomly until I get a pleasing result. I got my start in making amvs when I was watching the Otakon 1999 anime music video contest, and commented to my friend who was sitting next to me, 'Wouldn't it be really cool to get a tape of the contest?" The guy who was sitting next to us said to me, "I'm getting a tape of the contest, but I submitted an entry." Thus I began to work on such creations.
