YO ALRIGHT I REALIZE I AM WAAAY LATE.
But here we go.
None of the entries were really what I was looking for, but I sort of expected that. All the videos was really good though, and that made it really difficult to judge who should get what. I was in a unique position where I hadn't seen any of the anime used (although I do have a lot of understanding of the plot from Bleach and Death Note). All videos had their redeeming qualities, and I felt it'd be a shame if I judged solely on how well you interpreted the category or whatever.
I did the best I could, and I'm sorry i there's any hurt feelings. However, as (not really) promised, I HAVE CONSOLATION PRIZES.
OVERALL WINNER:
DimShadowen7 for " Ichigo - The Pure & The Tainted".
Prize: $100
Entertaining video that included dialogue and text, as well as a bunch of needless effects. xD
It was pretty fun.
xfedotx - Simply Entertaining
Prize: $50
I really liked this video. It was simply entertaining. I think lyric synch was interpreted as 'lip synch' and that's not what I was going for. However the concept was well played out regardless.
Bm-atticus - "Two Worlds, One Beautiful Friendship"
Prize: $50
This video kind of speaks for itself- it fit what I was looking for (in that specific category) exactly, and was pulled off rather well.
noelle675 - 'kinetic typography'
Prize: $50
This was a good try at typography. Not exactly the type of typography I was going for, but it did make for an interesting experience to watch. x3
I will PM the grand prize winner, BUT IF YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO GET A CONSOLATION PRIZE, YOU MUST PM ME BY JULY 30, 2010!
If you do not, your prize will be forfeit.
This is just so I may save some money and also to weed out the 'let me submit crap here and leave' people.
