Quick question....some friends of mine are actually going to Otakon and they never been to an AMV contest before. They're wondering where it is going to be at and what time? I read the contest is both Friday and Saturday...can they just go to either one?

They can go to either or both, and Saturday's is usually less of a line. Last year it was 7PM Friday night and 3:00PM Saturday afternoon in Video 1 (they should refer to their schedules and convention map for the location and time for this year).Kazemon15 wrote:Ahh I see.

Yes, as expected, that's it for my streak of always breaking at Otakon. Lesson learned: a one-week rush job might be enough to win, but a one-DAY rush job won't cut it. 
Oh well, at any rate I can finally cross that AMV concept off my list... I had that idea in mind for at least eight years, and this contest deadline (plus a severe lack of time to do anything more complicated after AnimeNEXT) was the push I needed to sit down and do it.
Congrats to all the finalists! Wish I could make it this year.
... Though I do have to wonder, if any of the five "Radioactive" videos broke, how many in the audience will inhale and exhale along with the BREATH SYNC.

bump for AUSA deadline change due to derpy webmasters. It is now 7/28 for mail, 7/29 1:00AM EST for FTP.
