Whew this thread has gotten long. Has DP posted the preshow list yet?

not yet. there is a minor technical glitch stopping that.
The power supply for the external drive which holds the premier project file apparently didn't make it home from con. The drive did, but not the power supply. so I need to move the drive to a new external enclosure to get at the content. I get paid Friday.

As for community judges, I don't really see how that would be a problem. I've actually been talking with Ben about it and I feel that bringing him, along with Pwolf and Castor Troy would be excellent judges. They've got an eye for quality and diverse tastes among the three of them to offer an excellent opinion on the videos for the contest during the judging process.

I don't think I'd ever want to consider being an actual AX AMV Contest judge. Having to sit through 300+ entries would rot my brain.

When I judged the 60+ videos for CSUN's AMV Contest in 2002, I couldn't even look at an amv without immediately putting my head down. I also couldn't even feel the front part of my brain for a week.

Thanks for considering me, but I'd rather stick to being an AMV Chef judge where I only have to judge 2 videos.

X-Stylus found me a new power supply on e-bay. Ordered it. Unfortunately, it didn't work so I am back top x-fering it to a new external case

anyone got any idea what the name of the video and/or song of one of em? i saw it at fanime, it was towards the end of the preshow, it was a few different animes dancing (like haruhi, lucky star, and another anime i didn't recognize but it was two girls mirroring each other) and the song was very cutesy but i couldn't really understand the words. the chorus sounded kinda like "d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d...do... i'm beautiful, k-k-k-k-k-k-k-k...ke...ke baby..." or something like that, i couldn't really understand it. anyway it was really catchy and i wanna watch it again. or at least get the song. any bells ringing?
