Aw, shucks, you guys.Pure gold
I'd second that- this was easily one of the funniest and most clever things I saw at the con.

Argh! I'm just now noticing this. My name is Peter Tom-Wolverton. NOTE the placement of the hyphen, please.MCWagner wrote:Best Comedy Video Award
Goes to the video "The NERV Evening News with Dan Rather"
by Peter-Tom Wolverton aka "Scintilla" of Aquiline Studios
To the song "Rocked by Rape" by The Evolution Control Committee
With footage from Neon Genesis Evangelion
I need to stop looking at this thread and start working on another video (so that I don't die of boredom)...

Definitely! The first time I saw at the awards ceremony, I was like "O_O I thought they were using a VCR?"Lostboy wrote:Aw, shucks, you guys.Pure gold
I'd second that- this was easily one of the funniest and most clever things I saw at the con.Thanks. I'm glad it got the response it did. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. I knew it wasn't likely to win Masters, but a good crowd response was high in my hopes. And I was glad to see it managed to fool people pretty effectively, too.
Too bad I never got a chance to talk to you Lee. I meant to, but well...you know AWA
Congrats on a job well done!
