Pure gold

I'd second that- this was easily one of the funniest and most clever things I saw at the con.

Aw, shucks, you guys. :) Thanks. I'm glad it got the response it did. It was exactly what I hoped it would be. I knew it wasn't likely to win Masters, but a good crowd response was high in my hopes. And I was glad to see it managed to fool people pretty effectively, too.

Argh! I'm just now noticing this. My name is Peter Tom-Wolverton. NOTE the placement of the hyphen, please.

I need to stop looking at this thread and start working on another video (so that I don't die of boredom)...

Definitely! The first time I saw at the awards ceremony, I was like "O_O I thought they were using a VCR?"

Too bad I never got a chance to talk to you Lee. I meant to, but well...you know AWA :-P

Congrats on a job well done!

That was absolutely golden, I wish I had been there. I need to get to work making videos, as my last one was kinda bleh (rushed + finals week level bleh) and I feel dirty.

This video is gold and everyone should watch it :). I still feel dumb from the award's ceremony. I knew it was being played off a tape and still went "oh shit" while in the audience.

I didn't know those pictures were EK, Brad and Jingoro until I read that :). Matt was obvious :-P.

Good job Lee!

I made them so highly stylized, it couldn't have been very obvious. It was really only just hinted at. Recognition of them is a bonus inside joke for those who can see it, but it isn't really a necessity. :)

You know, I only need one more person's review on a-m-v.org to see where it stacks up in the top 10 percent list. (hint hint) ^_^

Seriously, thanks, D-dubya. :D Glad you enjoyed it.

-_-;;

You did not just call me that nickname too :(. Stupid Hsien...I will get him one day I swear it!!!

BTW I'd review it if I didn't know that it'd take me over 30 minutes. My reviews are usually college-thesis in length and require a lot of time to do. Then again, yours is fairly short and to the point and repeated scenes *shrug*.

Perhaps...

Hehe, you don't have to. :) Or you can do it some other time. If you do review it, I'll owe you a review back, though. ;) It's like a Review Exchange!

Actually just went to your video and Phade changed requirements for the top 10%. It's now 8 reviews to qualify and you have two (which is fine for the old limit of 3). The main reason he did this is to "trim" the list down. It worked, but also a lot of good videos aren't listed. I hope he implements some of the changes myself and others have mentioned with scoring soon.

Now I don't feel as guilty if I don't review it :-P. If you'd like, make a thread in the opinion exchange forum. People are always willing to help out there and your video (IMO) should do fairly well...unless people don't have a funny bone :).
