Loveless relationships for an odd idea

OK. Recently got to hearing the song 'No Children' by The Mountain Goats.

...disturbingly, all I could think listening to it was 'This would make a great dark comedy vid in the right/wrong hands'

The song is basically about a loveless and miserable relationship...so anything that could work in this field

The lyrics:

Yako and Neuro from Private Evil-eye Neuro (they aren't an official pair but it fits the song).
Asuka and Shinji (same that above, but they are a couple in Iron Maiden 2nd).
Albert and Eugenie form the Count of Mountchrist or Gankutsuo.
