i'm gonna hold off on uploading mine for now. wanna give it a little more circulation around cons first. then i'll be sure to add a little watermark so no one can swipe it

Oh, and I've been actually meaning to ask that. Is there any reason why people let videos circulate cons for a couple of months before releasing them on the org? Other than just personal preference? I mean, I've got a video I'm going to premier at AWA I'm still working on, but I plan on airing it here at the org first. There's not like some unwritten rule of law saying not to premier until after cons that I've missed all these years is there?

most definitely not. you're just more likely to attract positive attention from people who have been asking/waiting for it. and it helps if you announce your videos with awards already under your belt

i usually upload my vids as soon as they're done, but since Out of the Sea has already premiered at Fanime i figured i could wait a little longer.
