People need to realize how cool this project could be. We need people with diverse animes. From racing, fighting, morphing, cyborg, and all other kinds of mecha, this mep has alot of interesting points to cover. Plus it can be easily organized too. Categorize the robots and show the mep portions for them then have scene changes for the categories in the MEP and stuff. This mep could be very cool, but like I said we need people with lots of different animes.

The basic idea behind this mep is great too. ROBOTS, I'm surprised it hasn't been done allready now that I think about it since there is so much mecha based anime. Besides who doesn't want to see a ton of cool robots doing what they do best sync'd to a fight song. There's so many possibilities.

Btw I decided to take Breast Angel instead of Vandread for when you start this mep. I even got the song ready if you want to hear it pm me or aim me.

And you better start it ;O

No Gundam wing? Thats a shame i peronally think Gundam wing is the best one.

it would be so cool if we could get some older style mecha in there like Giant robo or big O. I'd be up for that.

I personally think any anime should be aloud as long as it has mecha in it. I think since Eva and gundam wing have robots in them it should be fine. After all the main idea is the robots, how they are used, and the way they are used. Eva has cool robots and their piloting system is intense. I think people should be able to pick a mech of their own choice from any anime and make an MEP portion to it. This INLUCDES the Eva units, and the gundam units. Of course My pick would be Joe's bot from breast angel.

In short: People pick a bot and a song, neither can be used twice.

Afterall you said you wanted to include as many robots as possible.

Clamp-X is being sarcastic =P you can use absolutely any mecha anime you want as long as you don't duplicate what another editor is doing, as Eva said, diversity in this MEP is a must and like i said to Clamp-X i don't want this to turn into a 'NGE Mecha Project' which is why I'm not allowing a mech to be done twice... as for multiple sources I'll discuss this more with Clamp-X, right now I don't see it as a problem as long as you don't use a mech someone wants to singularly focus on (it'd be unfair to deal with a mech for 10secs only to have someone who wants to spend 45seconds on it) since you can't do a mech twice.

Breast Angel... sounds like a hentai o_O

I'll get the rules done once I figure out the best way to deal with the technical side of things...

And heck mechs from old to new would make this project more interesting instead of just popular ones so i definitely have NO restrictions at all to what mecha anime you would want, especially if you were to consider how some have evolved over the years.

Now about song choices, since mechas are apart of Japanese culture I am beginning to think an all jpop would fit the project better plus add consistency, what does everyone else think about this? I know that many would be unfamiliar with jpop compared to english songs and I don't want to put people off from the project just because of the music, so feedback please =)

Other than that it looks like people are interested in this, which is pleasing to know.

o.O u should start watching the U.C. gundam series. Gundam wing just seems overrated in my opinion. ^^

I think any songs would be good as long as its catchy and fast beat.
It's mainly ur MEP so u decide what's best, anyways get ur ass back on IRC! ^^#
