Ultra Bitchin Excellent Revolutionary Anime Music Video

Postby BogoSort » Tue Jan 20, 2004 3:25 pm

And now for the gratitutious shameless VCA amv promition that you've all been waiting for: It's Tricky to Make a Music Video

This video, in a short span of under 3 minutes, covers everything that we see in popular amvs today. It's got all of your favorate scenes(like Vash dancing, love scenes from Fushigi Yuugi, Spike looking badass) and all of your favorite effects(including, but not limited to stretch wipeswhite and color strobes, lens flares, cross fades, and the ever imporant star wipe for conveying all sorts of dramatic tension). Action, drama, humor, and gratitutious dance scenes are all to be experienced upon a single viewing. And yet, it triumphs over Cats, one just wants to see it again and again.

Thus in summary, NOMINATE TRICKY FOR THE VCAS! Thousands of attendees at Otakon decided that it was deserving of their highest praise, why should you be any different? Conform to the masses! You have no chance to survive, so nominate Tricky! It will be your salvation as your sins get washed away. If you choose not to nominate it, you will feel the wrath of an elite squad of badgers.

If you're a faithful follower, you might be allowed to lead the badgers into battle against the infidels who would deny Tricky its rites of succession of the ultimate awards in the VCAs.

 Jesus christ, we get it already. You have nothing but hatred and contempt for the AMV community because OMG TEHY LIEK TEH VIDOS U DONT. Can we let that joke die already? It's going on what, a year old now?

That said, the AMV in question was a great parody of AMVs. Its creator? Not so much.

AMVs, not performance art, plz kthx.

Sheesh, you give me far too much credit for hatred and contempt of the amv community. In all seriousness though, if I had so much hatred an contempt for the amv community, why would I supposedly lower myself to particpiate in such an activity. If I truly disliked it so much, then I would have much bigger and better things to do with my time than work on amvs.

Besides, even if amvs aren't performance art, the animemusicvideos.org forums certainly are.
