A project i started working on two and a half months ago. I thought i'd never finish it due to lack of footage, but thank God, it's finished... It's something i've been editing in my worst period of my life. That's why it's sentimental, i guess...
If you're looking for an amv with ultra special effects and such stuff, this is definitely not for you, please leave. I didn't wanted to mess up the storyline with crappy masks and seizure-bringing editing. Staight cuts, fadeouts and such worked totally fine.

Dedicated to everyone facing problems in his/her life, every hero of our world.

Also, i want to thank Nikolakis for beta testing and providing me with info on how to improve the visual quality, thanks man :D
Oh, and awesome poster made with After Effects CS3 ;P

Have always loved this song..
Too bad I couldn't get into it. The main disturbance was the crossfading and the choice of sources.
The scenes were good, but just so many of the series used didn't mash well together.
There is too much of a gap in the animation,
as well as the feeling and theme the different sources give off, like most of them using more of an realistic backgrounds,
atmosphere and the overall-design (sceneries and characters).
That might just be me nitpicking, but might want to take that in.

But yeah, over all editing was pretty decent, if you had gone with hardcuts instead of crossfades,
I think the video would have ran much smoother.

Anyway, nice try. But wasn't really my cup of tea.

I'm sorry, but this was...

plain bad.

No flow whatsoever and the pacing of the song was totally missed.

I'm not sure technical criticism is fair in this case. I watched for emotional impact and got a lot out of it. good job

I've watched this for emotional impact, just like SJCorrectet refered, so i'm kindda satistied, however, the editing seemed kindda fast and rough at a bunch of parts, which cancels some of the extra impact it could have had for me.
Scene selection was overall pretty nice tho :P

I had written out a long detailed explaination why I kind of liked this, but then my computer brain farted and restared, so I don't feel like typing that out all over again, but here were the main points:

*Love this type of AMV
*Loved all the sources used, but think some would have been good to have been cut.
*Needless Effects were needless

Actually, I liked the Code Geass scenes the best of all during the whole AMV, so I think this would have made a pretty good Geass AMV. =D

Yeah... i could say i totally agree with you. :| Different kinds of animation, different... everything, i was worried about all that from the beginning, but there wasn't much i could do. Anyway, i always hated hardcuts so... it's just my way of editing :amv: Thanks for your comment!
