My first attempt

This forum is to announce newly created/released anime music videos.
Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

My first attempt

Postby FoolThemAll » Sun Jun 30, 2002 4:16 pm

Sorry about posting this in the wrong forum before.

This isn't anime, but I wasn't sure where else to go. Hope it's ok.

This is my first effort at making a music video. I used the song "Tip" by Finger Eleven and clips from the movie Memento. If you haven't seen Memento and plan to, I wouldn't recommend viewing this, as there are many spoilers.

Anyone willing to take a look and give me their opinion?

www.angelfire.com/mi4/jms/index.html

It's labeled: Finger Eleven - Tip (9.5MB Music video, clips from Memento)

I'll probably check it out sometime as well. Memento is one of my favorite movies.

I finally got into the members page, so I entered it into the site. Not sure why it doesn't list my member name, but oh well. Here's the url:

Hey, just curious as to whether anyone watched it yet. I don't need a review or anything, maybe just a few sentences in this thread on how it was for a first try, and what I could've done better.

It was alright

Postby shamerock2000 » Fri Jul 12, 2002 9:55 am

It was ok, for a first try, but there were some parts that were not neccessary, based on the fact that they didn't work with the song, such as the part where Tidus is sliding down the long wires.

Wha?

Postby FoolThemAll » Sat Jul 13, 2002 5:33 pm

Umm...you must have clicked on the wrong link or something, I'll check the links to make sure. My music video had nothing to do with any Final Fantasy. It used clips from the movie "Memento".

Here's the link, in case the others are wrong: http://www.angelfire.com/mi4/jms/index.html

Easter Egg 1 hour into the film (Can you see it?)

Postby _Key_ » Sun Jul 14, 2002 3:03 pm

Amnesiac = Memento

Start the album 6:24:24 before the new market logo flashes. Bleed the dialouge in when appropriate
