Hello all,

So this is my very first AMV. I'm pretty decently proud of it, at least I still like the concept so that's probably good. The video was inspired by the official music video to the song (Breezeblocks by Alt-J). <-- It's pretty startling, just a warning. I thought the tone of the two things went well together so that's why I did the thing. I want to talk about the underlying message of it but I also want to hear some un-spoiled opinions on that first. Seriously though, I'm not a delicate flower so hit me with your critiques. Also thanks for watching!!

For a first vid, the editing was well done, everything was timed well. I love the parts where you reversed the time on the footage, really appropriate for Erased.

I think this type of music was not my thing, though, sorry... I found the vocals really irritating and couldn't understand anything being said, so I'm not sure if the lyrics were relevant to the story or not. I only seemed to understand the lyrics at the end (the "please don't go I love you so" part). Were you picking up a bit on Yashiro being "in love" in some way with Satoru? In the sense that Satoru becomes a sort of obsession that he lives for.

Hi, thanks!! Yeah I figured Alt-J would not be for everyone. They are indeed quite strange. The end part was hinting at that really crazy obsession that Yashiro has for Satoru. It seemed appropriate to me because of the strange juxtapositioning of the lyrics in the song "please don't go, I'll eat you whole, I love you so." The song's original music video had the same tension and I wanted to keep that uncomfortableness. Also, I am a n00b. Can you translate "scope complete" ?

A scope is a complete idea told from anywhere within a vision to have a beginning and an end/conclusion. It's one of the hardest concepts in writing and is next to impossible in AMVs.
