Re: I made a thing with an evil cat
It has a creepy factor that really carries it very well. I liked the combination, and that you kept the focus where it should be, showing the girls as victims of the "devil".
If there was anything about it I didn't like, I think it was that many of the downswings in the music didn't seem to have a dramatic transition or effect to provide more visual impact going into the upswings (example of which is the abrupt jump transition @ 3:04). Still, that's nitpicking it a little too much -- I really liked it overall.

HIIIIGHWAY TO THE DEVIL'S OWN!
I actually liked this more than I thought I would, I've been suffering from Madoka overexposure. >_>
A lot of videos with this source kinda leave a "pretty but nothing of substance" feeling and I didn't get that when I watched this. It was actually engaging, despite seeing most of the scenes before. So....that's pretty good, haha.

Re: I made a thing with an evil cat
Wow, I never imagined a Madoka AMV made like this... never thought it could be this dark and creepy (or I might have been oblivious to other Madoka AMVs made in a way like this >_>)...
Either way, I loved it. I got engaged into it in the beginning and got hooked onto it to the end, with its dark and creepy themes that you have shown using the right transitions and effects, and the song choice was great in my opinion!
I'll be downloading this for sure!

I really wonder why...I feel that show has an extremly dark and twisted atmosphere. Still haven't seen too many Madoka amvs...wondering where they hide and where everyone is watching themm3andchip5 wrote:Wow, I never imagined a Madoka AMV made like this... never thought it could be this dark and creepy
Regardless, this was a pretty good amv. Not a keeper though.

Re: I made a thing with an evil cat
Yea, I wasn't really sure how this would stack up against what I imagined to be an onslaught of Madoka AMVs, but the thing I liked about the show was how dark it was to become a heroine. So I enjoyed playing around with that. I figured not using all the weird witchy parts would probs set it slightly apart from all the shiny vids and would help with mood too ^^;
