new amv

hey this is my first video... i made this about a year and a half ago. if you can please leave some comments so i can get better at making AMVs. i made this in windows movie maker, i don't plan on using that program anymore.

It's pretty nice for a first video. While there are a lot of timing mistakes here and there, and the video seems very random in its scene selection, I felt that the overall theme came through and it was enjoyable to sit through and watch some battles I forgot about.

Heh, good for you. Took me much longer to get out of WMM's shadow (as a good portion of my first videos would indicate -_-; ). So, what do you plan to edit on for your future AMVs?

I agree with GQ, and it's nice to see an action video that isn't moving along at breakneck speed. I felt the concept was stronger in the beginning, towards the end things seemed to lose direction and become much more random, rather than building up to a conclusion of the fighting. The video quality also could be greatly improved, so be careful of that in the future - try to only use quality source material off DVDs and avoid speeding up or slowing down the footage so you don't introduce frame blending.
