Mmmmh... I thought it was okay-ish.
I'd say the scene selection was mostly fine, but it really needed a tighter sync. As it stands, scenes are just there for too long, the timing is loose, and that makes the video feels slower than it should... it gets boring rather soon, I had a hard time finishing it, to be honest. Still a rather decent watch, the show and audio source fit each other pretty well imho, but that's not enough on its own I think.

XD I know it could be boring, but I did it on purpose, I just tried to split what you see from what you hear. Sometimes it works, specially with live action movies, but I still could not get a decent result with anime.

This was pretty nice; I think some scenes were a bit drawn out too long sometimes, but otherwise the pacing seemed to go really well together.
Also I wasn't really sure if at first you meant to speak about Hachi's feelings of wanting to be in space, or if you wanted to focus on him and Tanabe's relationship. Maybe a combination of both? I dunno, I would've preferred if you stuck with one (unless I missed the message you were conveying. ^^; )

^^It's the same feeling after all, she's like the Moon for Hachi, I guess.
