Also, no problems at all playing the mp4 on my laptop, which is significantly lower specs than my desktop, though still a Turion 64 @ 1800Mhz.

Can't stand the song, and the sync was off a lot, so I have no reason to rewatch this, but I like that it was something new and fresh. Also, the last minute was actually pretty awesome. 3/5, but could have been better.

It kicked ass. There's really not much more to say about it.

You really cramped alot of good animation and scenes in there, which makes me want to watch it often

I'm a fan of your stuff, and I remember thinking your other Astroboy vid was pretty cool, so naturally I had to check this one out. Initially, I was turned off by the song, but then about halfway into the vid it seemed like things really started to pick up and the amv became really enjoyable. Lots of good stuff going on in here, and it was just fun. Good work indeed.

I loved the song

. loved how you used the footage, but my only nitpick was that the whole AMV was speeded up :/, that kinda decieved my eyes on the synch and I don't like being decieved lol.

Anyway I thought this was pretty darn good, I remember watching this version of Astro boy, though I got bored of it after some episodes

. Nice to see the old school character in a cool AMV like this one

congrats on the awards too

yes, I figured this combination would strike an oldschool chord with some people. I specifically picked a song that would be badass-- Not too heavy, but not too silly either. And I also looked through the clips specifically for movement scenes. Thanks for the feedback

Mixed results so far with the song, and I can't blame you for that. The sync thing makes me wonder about playback. I know you know how to play an amv

but the 60fps sometimes messes up in other players [like MPC w/CCCP for ex.] in two ways: slowly unsyncing as the vid progresses. and interleaving the audio by a couple ms. I always try to use VLC... and if that's what you used... dunno

deception eh? ... just give in to it... that's what it's all about.

Astro Boy (2003) actually has a decent storyline... it's just so damn long... and has some 'kiddy' episodes. But I hear the second half has some darker themes [I'm at ep30, and it's starting to pick up]. I'm not sure if that's why the last 20 eps weren't aired in America... but I'll find out
