Forum rules
Please observe the following unique rules for this forum:
  • Please limit your new threads (not replies) to one per week. If you have several new videos to announce, create one thread for all the videos. (Note: if you forget one you can edit your post!)
  • Offsite links are allowed, but you are required to have a catalog entry for that video as well. Threads announcing videos that do not contain a catalog entry will be moved to the Awaiting Catalog Entry sub-forum and will be deleted in 2 weeks if an entry is not created.
  • When posting announcements, it is recommended that you include links to the catalog entries (using the video ID) in your post.
  • Videos that do not contain anime are allowed to be announced in the Other Videos section and are not required to have catalog entries.

The audience reaction was incredible. They were laughing so hard most of the time that we couldn't hear all the words to the song (which was a hysterical choice in itself). ;-) They loved it and it was great. :) And the choice of not using yaoi vids in there made it a lot better, I thought -- most of the fans haven't seen the rare and not-always-interesting stuff that's actually designed to be yaoi, so what the majority of fans *really* love are the regular anime series that can be 'played' with. ;-) You got *big* audience reaction everytime the Gudam guys went across the screen (I loved the way you used the poster pics in there). And it does have repeat value! There's *so* much in there, that it takes several showings just to pick up on it all. :) I loved the opening conversation, especially the "extensive video editing" comment! A brilliant piece of work for the con!

Wow, I really wish I could have been there to see the audience reaction! I really wasn't even expecting it to do that well!

I can't say I'm surprised that it did that well- it was just outright hillarious. And if someone like myself who isn't a Yaoi fan got such a big kick out of it...

 I wasn't surprised. As soon as I saw it in the pre-checks, I *knew* everybody was going to love it. The song choice, the clips, the alterations, and the guy on the left making all the typical non-yaoi guy comments... ;-) Brilliant! Between your's and Anneke's "Suichi's Question," those two comedy vids totally personify the fandom group.

Old threads don't die, they just become annoying.
