You can add the RSS feed to your feed readers as well as add them to any podcast software you use such as itunes or Zune.

New episodes will be available weekly, aprox 2 per week. Taping and release will happen Tues~Thurs and on Sat~Sun.

Either way, head on over to the site (image is click able as well as the banner in my sig) http://twiamvs.ngsilver.com/

There is now a live feed that you can access in order to hear the show LIVE if you so desire. Whenever a live show is being recorded you can access the feed, listen in, and if I deem it appropriate you can also talk to us LIVE on the show. This is all provided via Talkshoe. One of the neat features is that you can access the live session via your phone if you desire (it is a US number) or any compatible VOIP setups (ones that use SIP.) Through this service we are also providing streaming of each new episode from the site as well as each show notes page if you don't want to download the episode and listen to it that way. Anyway, the Talkshoe link is: http://www.talkshoe.com/tc/76511

This podcast is set to update about every 2~3 days when more content is available to talk about. The first show deals mainly with the start of the VCAs.

You really want to keep this up for 2, 3 days per episode? Well I doubt it, but so far it sounds good. I like it.

My last.fm plugin is scrobbling it :amv:

well, at the very least it will be weekly. But the idea is to update when more content is available. So yeah, it could be 2 days between, 3 days, or more or less. Heck, after I finished recording this I found enough content to run another 30 mins at least. Though I'll wait a day or two before recording another show.

music was sometimes too loud at some points

.acc for us tech-jerks?

Please do not only include the .org's view of things. I also want to know more about other communities like Akross or the quitr fresh hungarian one which seams to get quite big or YouTube's point of view. Especially because I can't really participate on other communities because I only really speak German and English.

lol You all made a competent impression on me. You actually are a community with your own forums, websites and viewer choice awards and you are all getting better and better. A lot of cool stuff is comeing from Hungary now. You really seam to be a fast growing community and for me you are fresh. These sort of new community structures don't exist for too long or am I wrong.

Okay it isn't too hard to glance when I think about the austrian AMV scene. :P
I think he didn't mention us

Yeah I meant "you". Not the YouTube part (if there exists any structure).

There ARE hungarian YT amv/w makers. But they don't count XD We are tryin' to conquer them, because YT is bad and evil... sometime we succes, sometime we fail. But I know you put the focus on our close community called AMV Art 2.0 :P If we can say it's a community...

But this is surprising from you. As an Austrian fellow think about us. I mean in the case of ORG's European branch we are far little and unknown community compared to others. Like Czech or Polish colleagues. In this case they are much bigger (as we or Austrians) also fresh and have more talented editors....but really, thanks for thinking on us. :P

.....and damn, we are so nothing that we even have not been mentioned on Megamom's world AMVer map :uhoh:

Everything is OK for me. I'm very venal/corrupt... Otherwise it would be a great thing to hear about us from an other viewpoint. :)

Of course. But your initial idea to Nate sounds nice. I mean he could even make some extra "Outlook podcast" sometimes as "Presenting, interviewing XY country's community"
And yes I agree with you, podcasts may be less ORG-focused. But the general structure of this first podcast and the idea is nice and fresh.

Nate: is it a bad habit of yours rubbing your palms ?

I am open to ideas. For the first syndicated show I wanted to stick with things I am comfortable with. After all, I am an American editor and mainly part of the .org and #amv community. I speak English primarily which makes it a little difficult to understand other community sites that don't have English translations, but I'm not against talking about them and what goes on with them. I'm after all not ignorant of the other communities (at least those that branch out here) though when I was working on the links section of the site I couldn't remember the locations of other sites/forums (as of right now I only have the org and amvnew.ru, forgot about akross at the time).

If anyone would like to assist me in gathering information about contests, points of view, or scrounging up editors to interview then by all means I'll accept the help. After all, I do want this show to succeed and at the same time be as broad and comprehensive as possible when it comes to AMVs. But I have to start with what I know and work to branch out in the future.

I don't plan to have each episode follow the same structure. If there is a hot topic going around perhaps I could do a show where I get a panel of people together and we discuss the topic. I can do a view from around the world type show where I interview editors from other communities. When I'm at a con I can do a live report or two about the contest while there as well as get views and opinions from editors who are present. Yeah, there's a lot that can be done here. I'm not against any of it, so keep those ideas coming.

Well, I talk with my hands so that is often a side effect, clapping my hands when I make points or switch topics and rubbing them when I get excited. I'm actually working on getting some new equipment to allow me to better record these shows. My mic isn't bad per say, it does a fairly good job of canceling out surrounding noise and of picking my voice up from a distance so I'm not constantly blowing into it, but it isn't production grade or anything. I will have to work on controlling my hands and want to spin around at my desk ^^()
