It's time to write also some info about me here. I'm presently a 28 years old guy who is in the anime fandom since '95. I was a normal laic enjoyer of animated music videos since the spring of 2007, I only was captivated by them and started to discover AMV.ORG, just for getting the nice stuffs. During one year I made-up a lot of well-known videos in my list as viewer but didn't think about to actually make one. But something has changed on February 2008, when Yaaku ( he was that one of the best known hungarian editor already) asked to give a try to make a short video to their Hungarian AMV Hell project, M.A.R. So I started to get closer with Sony Vegas and made my first tribute of stupidness - not suprisingly based on tits >_< from Eiken OVA- and was quite good for the project, so I was burning up with my newbie enthusiasm and created 30 other short videos. The M.A.R. got loud reactions as lots of laughings in our SakuraCon 2008. By making of these shorts I started to make my first full-length AMV and learn better Vegas and practice other important technical elements as beatsync, lipsync, lyricsync. First AMV, "Ash Like Snow" was a complete failure, but at least had some beatsync. I changed the concept and the music under the Code Geass footage and made my first normal quality AMV, "Lulu ,what have you done ?" Than this process didn' t stop for me, since then I have ideas always in my head while listening any kind of music. Let's say: I've completely set my mind to create random AMV ideas based on a music, which I found first strange, but I think, I got used to it.
I tried some genres during my one-year-long active maker life such as action, drama, romantic, sentimental, parody, fun, trailer,... I think, that you mustn't bond yourself to one given style or genre: it's better to have a taste from a broader pallette. But as I experienced so far, I have better sense to make action-dramas and parodies; these categories give me the most intensive ideas and creativity. As music I like a many variation of "harder" music like metal, rock, punk, industrial metal but I also like symphonic-classical music (and of course thinking on concepts all the time as possible project :-)
