yeh well in the end it comes down to what the rest of the AMV community want, and they'll vote for what they want. I think the best thing you could do right now is not rip someones idea to pieces just coz you don't like. I can imagine how you'd react if someone attacked your videos

I recognise that.. one of my friends always complained about my AMV's... and at the end.. she stole my whole idea... T_T
Blah.. I don't think that it could be the logo at the end, but like I said: Maybe they can use it as an emoticon for the Forum?

Anyway, I can't imagine myself making banners with that logo O_o
I'll just wait a year with making banners, and go making logo's XD
naah.. Joke.
I guess I can live with it but we'll ust have to wait.
It's not like the logo had already won..

i agree. the amv emoticon is a clever idea, but only as an emoticon. not for a logo

Well, today is the deadline of the first round of voting and not the logo submission. You must wait until next year if you want to submit your logo. Or you may show it here if you want some opinions on it.

As of now, I'm curious about wich 5 logos will qualify for the final voting. I have chosen my 5.

Yeah....the emoticon is........quite different than a regular banner...

It's just that when I hear banner:
I think of it as being much longer than it is tall.....
IT should really have something to do with The site....the emotibanner only has to do with the forum.
If someone saw the logo on some random site, do you really think that they would know what it even was for? the smiley face may bring funny attention to the site which I would say is one of the only reasons I would want it. If the emotibanner is voted in and member numbers go up durastically, I;d bow to the creator of the banner.
I just think by just looking at the emotibanner, you really have no clue what the site is about....

Since when are the banners here used to actually advertise the site? As far as I can tell, you see them when you're here, and that's it. They don't bring in members; the fact that you have to be a member to download does that.

Am I missing something?
