  This AMV was the very last AMV I made before I moved away from how and went off to start my life at 20. I had every intention of making another AMV again but life got in the way and I either never had time or felt too insecure about coming back.
  
  Ironically around this time in 2022 I decided to just try and make something and realized that I had not made a legit attempt any making or remaking an AMV for 17 years. So I decided to start with the last one and work my way from there till I got comfortable.
  
  Remaking this AMV was a bit of a trip. While the process felt like riding a bike you never really forget...remaking this AMV and it being the first AMV I attempted (to completion) in 17 year it helped figure out editing again especially since I was using Final Cut Pro this time versus Adobe Premier.
  
  I always liked the original version of my AMV however there were spots I almost always cringed at wondering why I didn't just spend more time working on it but back then I completed things to just complete it and not look back. I am still sort of like that now but more willing to stop and let it marinate for awhile. I am pretty sure a few months from now or years I will look at this AMV again and say yeah those parts I screwed up on and fix them. Till that time happens I am very satisfied with how the 2022 remake of this AMV came out. I will h hopefully post in some time in the future. It is still as strange as the original just much tighter.

  This little ditty came out of nowhere with me. Before doing this AMV I was going through what seems to be my seasonal creators block. I was hoping to do a dark/sick type of AMV using Black Jack however I couldn't find an idea that would stick. I couldn't get any help from anyone on it. I couldn't get any real good ideas to make an AMV. Then I remembered Satoshi Kon had a new anime out recently. Hoping I would get the same inspiration as I did with Millennium Actress I waited till the full set of Paranoia Agent came out. I wasn't dissapointed with the results, the anime was dark and twisted, just what I wanted. Trying to find a song for it was the hard part. I watched a few Paranoia Agent AMVs, I wanted mine to be a little different. There are one or maybe a few similarities (I can only find one). However the idea came from when I was watching the 4th episode. When the fat guy was trying to fight the sick side within him from committing another crime when I had the pre-chorus of SIN by Megadeth in my head. So I took that song and tried to make it work however I got half way done before I realized that it just didn't seem right. I thought what I done sucked ass, so I sat down and thought what could work with Paranoia Agent. I went through my collection of music, I needed a song or band to match the zany screwed upness of the anime. I didn't want to use a badnt hat has been over used, so I came up with The Doors. Yes the song "People Are Strange" is probably the most over used song in the group of The Doors AMVs but I guess I can hit a complete bullseye originality wise. It's impossible to be truly innovative anymore. I felt both the music and anime haven't been over used, they worked together so I went at it. I got the AMV technically done in 3 days. However I spent 3 more days fine tuning it. Now I am pretty happy with the results, one "strange" video. It was meant to be as strange and screwed up as the anime but with a comedy appeal. I doubt this AMV will get good reviews but hey it's the best I could come up with at this time. Hope at least a few people enjoy it.
