15 days, averaging 10 to 15 hours during the week, 10 hours on the weekends. Edited with iMovie, it's a Quicktime movie, no effects except cross dissolves, overlapping scenes and three mirrored scenes. Read a fanfic once describing a character’s fighting style as a dance. I mulled that idea over considering different dance-themed songs and fell in love with I Hope You Dance. I may still do another amv with the same idea, different song, different anime someday. There are several amvs using the same song but I only looked at one because I didn’t want to be influenced (or discouraged in case the others followed the same theme). Hardest part was finding fighting scenes where the characters weren’t just posing as the background went swishing by (sigh). And no scenes with Kougaiji! No intentional lip syncing, those scenes just happened.
