This one was inspired by a fic. ALHR. But it has nothing to do with the plot. ALHR is a fic (an amazing fic, which I highly recommend to anyone) with yaoi content, but yaoi is by no means the focus of the story.
This video is similar. I'm a proud yaoi addict, I thrive on subtext, and as a yaoi addict I consider it my duty to stick that subtext into a music video every once in a while. I'm weird that way.
Yaoi, for the uninformed, means gay relationships. Just to clear up any misunderstandings right now.
Really, you probably won't notice the yaoi in this video much at all... well, maybe that once... but I AM just working with the footage from the games, after all. But... well, just see if you can find a translation of the lyrics.
This was made on Windows Movie Maker, and you'd be amazed what kind of special effects you can put together manually on that. I've got almost a strobe effect going in parts of this video. Spoilers for the end of FF7, and semi-spoilers for FF8 and FF9 (not big ones, though.)
