I've wanted to do a full metal alchemist video for a while now (since watching the series) and although I've had like a gazillion ideas for videos I never got round to making them. However, as soon as I heard this song, it just hit me like a bolt of lightning and I thought "This would make a totally awesome Ed video" and this is where I ended up. The lyrics to Simple Plan's untitled are amazing and really relate to poor little Ed and everything he has to endure since he was 11 years old.
This video is seen through Ed's point of view. He reflects on all the hard times he's had and the line "I've made my mistakes" seem to fit perfectly with the human transmutation that he should have never tried to do. There are only spoilers for episodes 1-25 as that’s all I've seen unfortunately but if you haven't seen those episodes you may not want to watch the video because there are A LOT of spoilers for these episodes. The video is meant to be emotional and upsetting so BEWARE if you love Ed as much as I do this may draw a tear to your eye.....
