  Voices is my first competing video. It made it to the finals of Anime Boston 2005 and it seemed to be recieved well, so I am very happy about that. I choose Voices of a Distant Star because I simply love this anime, especially the animation of it. Postal Service's "Such Great Hieghts" did an excellent job of fitting with the spacey feel of the vid. I wanted to focus on the distance the two main characters felt from each other, yet they still kept a special place in thier hearts for each other.
  
  I did some experimenting with masks in this video. The effects are subtle until the end with cheesy ending. lol. Overall, I am happy with this video because I accomplished what I wanted to with it.
