• Comments: After reading all of the "Monster" manga in a few sittings, I found myself putting the events I had just read to some of my favorite songs, and it occurred to me almost immediately that Sarah McLachlan's "Sweet Surrender" could have been written for the anime soundtrack. So, I got busy downloading all the released episodes, hunting down a copy of Adobe Premiere, and planning it out. Sure enough, the more I developed the idea, the more it seemed as if Sarah McLachlan had read this story before writing the song...
  
  The main focus of the video is Dr. Tenma's gradual change from the somewhat timid doctor he once was, into a confident and strong character. To track down and stop the "monster" Johan, there is the possibility that he, too, will have to become a monstrous person (Tenma's "sweet surrender" to the darker areas of his personality) . The video is told from various different viewpoints depending on the verse, though it mostly speaks towards the "angel" Johan.
  
  This is my first serious attempt at making a good AMV (I finally got some worthy equipment) but so far I've gotten positive feedback from everyone who's viewed it. Enjoy!
