  • Comments: This video originally started out as a profile of three anime heroes, Vash, Kenshin and Subaru (X), but I decided it work better for a solo Vash video. Seether is one of my favorite bands, and it was the line "I can't pretend we're the same" that made me think "Trigun". This is a serious video, and I'm sorry to say that Meryl (my fav. female character) is only shown off to the side in one scene and the top of her head in another! But this is primarily about Vash and Knives, and the angst Vash feels about both his past and the powers he has.

    Technically, this was a hard video. It was made with Movie Maker (piece of junk *kicks*) and kept freezing up. There are a lot of fades, and for the bridge the layering was really difficult to get right. The stills were actually made using MS Paint and imported, but they make a pretty cool effect for such old technology.

    All in all this was about 12-13 hours of work over a long period. Oh, and the song playing during the end credits is "Love Her" also by Seether. I forgot to add that in the video itself. Enjoy!
