  Mai HiME kicked entierly too much ass to be ignored, and a music video (a good one) had to be made. I scoured the net for the raws, and managed to find all but two (not very action-oriented episodes anyways, their loss didn't hurt the video).
  
  The video is 70 megs because I like high video quality, and I like people who do. No Real, no QuickTime, and I won't stand for the 3 meg WMVs you find littered around. I want to watch a video with enough data in it to fill my monitor with fast action, clean colour, and no wierd compression artifacts floating around. So I supply the means for others to do this. 70 megs really isn't that much considering how much a typical OP or ED takes in 90 seconds with 30 megs, and I've got four minutes. Enjoy the high quality. I made sure to get clean raws, and have only ONE gernation loss. I made the whole video in decompressed AVIs to make sure it was clean on the other end.
  
  The music, Contradanza by Vanessa Mae has lived on my MP3 player for too long, because it's just a kick ass peice of music. And it was so easy to visualize them going together. I'm sure you'll agree. Too many music videos use crazy-hard rock with scenes of ass kicking, or depressing stuff to dramatic scenes. Mai HiME has it all, and the music is really balanced, so I tried to reflect both of them.
  
  If anyone cares, I made the video with Adobe Primere Pro 7.0, and managed the raw files and segments with VirtualDubMod. Encoded at 2400kbps mutipass (eventually doing 12 passes), and 192kbps MP3 audio.
