I’m not going to lie to you. I didn’t put a lot of effort in this video. It might show. I really don’t think it’s awful, just mediocre. Take one really boring Friday evening, a ton of Giant Robo DVD footage (Yes, I know a lot of it looks bad, thank you Hong Kong DVD rips), and the hours of 7PM through 11:30PM. The result? Giant Robo/Particle Man.
Oh no, another Particle Man video. Yes, another one.
Another Giant Robo video? Totally bro(and sis), there are hardly any, and seeing as it is my personal all-time favourite series, I’ve decided to work on making GR AMVs. So far this is the only completed video. And it was done in one evening. Eh, who cares? (You do, and probably hate me by now : P)
Onto the cast.
Particle Man: Taisou. This one was a natural fit.
Triangle Man: Lord Alberto The Impact. Originally, the concept for this AMV came from a short I did, with just the “Triangle Man” section of the song, set to Alberto.
Universe Man: Giant Robo. Who else?
Person Man: Ivan the Terrible. Originally, I was going to use Daisaku Kusama (The little kid controlling Robo), but Ivan ended up working much better, especially since his robot looks like a flying garbage can.
So, this AMV isn’t intended to win any awards, it’s simply me with free time and a dumb little idea. This was just made for a little enjoyment. And with that, I shall go, and do enjoy this silly video. Thanks for your time, and I encourage everyone to check out the brilliant masterpiece, Giant Robo (Which, by the way, is a drama.. not a super-robot-action anime).
