Sango, to me, is one of the strongest characters on InuYasha. Not because she can throw a giant boomerang, and not because she totally kicks butt...but because she has the spirit of a warrior.
The spirit of a warrior is something that is held so dear, yet can be broken by the emotions of the warrior. This spirit, cannot be defined as the will to kill, or the determination to impress your master...but as the willing to give their life to protect that of another. That is the true essence of a warrior and that is why Sango has the Warrior's Spirit.
She would gladly take her life to protect Kohaku and her friends. She doesn't hesitate...because if you hesistate, you lose your battle. The warrior who takes precautious steps, the warrior who thinks of their life before that of others, the warrior who doubts his determination and skill...does nto deserve to be called a warrior
A warrior is someone who throws their life on the line for others...and a coward can never be a warrior. Sango has the strength of a warrior within...and she gladly embraces it
