• Comments: For my second AMV, I wanted to do a tribute to one of the greatest video games, Final Fantasy VII (7). I was particularly moved by the emotion in the game, and matched it up with one of my favourite System of a Down (SoaD) songs, The Metro. Even though it's a relatively unknown song, I felt it suited the storyline and characters of FFVII, and it ended up fitting together quite nicely.
  
  One thing I've noticed over my general browsing is the lack of AMVs dedicated especially to FFVII, many AMVs I've seen are collations from a mixture of the games; I challenged myself to make an AMV which was *only* about FFVII; another thing thing I noticed was that other AMVs used much of the same footage, and sometimes the key spoiler scene.
  
  I made the conscious effort to make this a spoiler-free AMV (which, given the nature of the FFVII storyline excluded a major scene), as there is a significant spoiler that is unfortunately widespread. Although the game came out so long ago, I didn't get to play it until about a year ago, so because it was 'spoiled' for me I've made this AMV completely spoiler-free.
  
  It was difficult to obtain the in-game footage, I found it virtually impossible to rip the video from the PC version of the game so I had to do it from the PSX version; even so, there isn't a lot of video anyway because of the age of the game, so my source was a little limited. However, on the whole, I was very pleased with the way this AMV went, and I feel the music and video mix very well to bring back fond memories of a truly fantastic game.
