This.. first..hope..like... (Those two sentences, you must have read so many times already, there really is no point in writing them down, is there :-) ) This is one of the vids i had planned pretty well, and were waiting for me to find a working editor. In the end, it became Adobe Premiere 6.0 . Because I already had thought about what footage I wanted to use where, I finished making it in only 4 days, two of which schooldays, and including the time needed to learn how premiere worked, and to restart my computer after premiere %^&$%^$%^#ed it up again.
The concept of this video is to give a profile of Inu Yasha, Seshoumaru and their fights. IMHO Seshoumaru is the coolest character in the series, and I really hope he'll turn "good" and help trash Naraku (so that he can win too :-) ) A problem with this vid is not only it contains spoilers (the last ep used that contains spoilers is 45, if you have it up to there, you're home free), but also that people who haven't seen it up to there won't understand everything. However it is still fun to watch according to friends who haven't seen the series. A last note about the spoilers: They give away more or less how the fights go, but they hardly spoil anything of the story (nothing after ep6)
I used footage from fansubs, so the picture quality isn't all that great, but on the upside, I did manage to completely avoid shots with subtitles in them. Still, it could be that you can't watch it full screen properly. Sorry about that. One thing that I am very pleased about, and what I also thought was the most important part of this vid, is the timing. It's exactly as I had wanted, exept on two places.
At the fast beating drums in the begining, which beat so fast I simply can't put the shots exactly right, and at the end when seshoumaru runs towards Inu Yasha. I didn't entirely like that part, but I couldn't think of a way to do it better, so I just left it like this. When I planned this vid I had thought a of a lot of places (such as at the very beginning) where I wanted to have the shot fade out into black, but no matter how many tools for that purpose premiere has, they all made it look ugly because the fading wasn't smooth, so I left that out. The result is still very good I think.
I know everyone says this too, and I'll admid that I don't really listen to this, but, if you download it please please please please give an opinion. I'll make the file available for download, as soon as I can get someone from my class to tell me how to do that (newbie here). I hope I can do this within the next two days, but our exams are about to begin so I can't prommise anything. And BTW, if this is the first time you came to this website; The two sentences at the top were "This is my first music video. I hope you'll like it."
Update: well, I've been goofing up in the area of putting it up. sorry, I promise I'll start working on it. In the meantime, if you think this video will be soooo good ^_^ that you don't want to wait for me to get off my lazy ass and put it up , you can try downloading it from KaZaA. Just search for Inu Yasha in the video section, it will show up if I'm online.
I have some problems with my hositng, I hope to solve them some.
