This AMV was my first stab at creating one for myself. Akira, being my all time favorite anime, seemed like a natural choice.
The tune "Dread Rock" by DJ Paul Oakenfold provided me with some inspiration and I think it fits well with the pace of the movie itself. There are no effects whatsoever in this video, it was all done with stright editing via Premiere 6, however, please dont let that put you off. I think the video flows nicely, and I tried to convey the basic story of the movie throught the course of the song.
