• Comments: Before you cringe and think "X-Men Trailer?! WTF?" Let me give a few details on the new anime series Scryed:
  
  In an apocalyptic island, lawlessness is the law, except for a city created in the center of the island dominated by high walls and guards. On this island, some phenomenon occured where 1% of the human population born there mutated so that they can create "Alters". Alters are manifestations of the characters themselves created by the destruction of nearby objects. A group is formed in the city consisting of lawful "Alter Users" called "HOLD" who are ever vigilante to subdue the "Native Alter Users" (Alter Users born outside the city and living with the lawless people). What happens when one Native Alter User defies all of HOLD? What is the relationship between a human researcher who is interested in studying the Alter Users and the main captain of HOLD? What does the defiler (Kazuma) hope to accomplish?
  This series ultimately creates lots of twists and turns in the plotline which is unconventionally deep for what seems like a typical action anime. I encourage everyone to watch this series (currently being subbed by A-N, along with some other groups.. But as you can tell I'm supporting A-N at the moment =)
  
  Info about the trailer:
  In a streak of 8 hour inspiration, I have created a trailer for this series to coincide with our fansub releases. I went all out on this trailer, adding lots of tidbits and quasi-professional touches. Most of the synching is pretty dead-on in my opinion and that of others. I think the whole x-men mutant discrimination theme worked perfectly with the alter users / their discrimination in the anime. This trailer is made to look exactly like a movie trailer. It's pretty much x-men, but instead of x-men it's the scryed people. Somehow it works out really nicely.
  Many of the ops in my channel including myself believe this is my best work to date (along with the Ah! My Goddess Movie AMV).
