    First of all, this is not a romantic video if the title of the video made you think that. I named it My Sunday Girl because that was the lyric I tried the hardest to use footage that not many other people would use. However, I haven't downloaded a Samurai X video in a long time, so I don't know what's overused and what's not.

    Speaking of overusing footage, I tried to use footage that might not seem too appealing to other creators. Since I have nothing to base what's overused or not, it's all conjecture. But I do distinctly remember some footage that was so overused I would get sick. I hated it. Some of these scenes include: The final mark Kenshin gets and when Kenshin finishes off Kiyosato. I refuse to use those scenes in any of my videos these days (with the exception of Windows Frustration).

    Okay. This is the fourth (if not fifth) time I have made this video. So if you see at the end of the video Re-Edited(2), that's because I've already re-edited it before. It's Re-Edited Squared. Why have I made this so many times? Because it was the first video I truly made. Sure, I made experimental videos before the first incarnation of this, but this is the FIRST real one I made. Therefore it holds a special place and it deserves to get a facelift every now and then. The first versions can be read in my video called The Beginning. There is no download to it though since I use footage from other AMVs. You can however, download the version I made prior to this one (the third version) here with the boring name: Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin - Down.

    If I could, I'd make a .zip file containing all the versions of this video. It'd be kinda neat to see how my skills progress with each version.

    Technical Notes
    ===========

    Since I've made this 3 times prior to this one, this only took me about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks to make. A very short amount of time considering most take a month or more.
    This is also the first video where I try IVTC and Deinterlacing. Of course, I haven't really figured out AVISynth yet and not everyone is willing to help, so the video will still have some jagged edges at times. I don't know how to get rid of it.

    I don't know if it's only my version/computer, but when the clips fade to black, a faint, thin, horizontal line appears. I have no idea how this happened or how to get rid of it. If it's only my version, then that's fine. I can deal with it.

    This video makes use of the brightness&contrast filter in adobe. So the video will flash to the drum pretty often. So if you suffer from epilepsy or what not, then you may not want to download this. The flashes aren't bright, but I really don't know how intense they have to be.

    Unlike the previous videos, this video makes use of about 75% brand new footage. Maybe a bit more, maybe a bit less. In my previous version, I just did a basic re-edit with a few new clips that got rid of the tv series clips I used in the version before that. I also re did cuts and a few other clips.

    This time, this video uses much more new footage that I have never used before (or I moved some footage to a different spot in the song). The only way to tell is if you download both versions 3 and 4. There were 7 things that I did keep though in all videos throughout. They were:

    1. The very beginning with the eye
    2. :13 when Hiko slices that guy into 12 pieces
    3. :31 first lyric: Pleased to meet you
    4. 1:12 the transition from the sword cutting the umbrella to the pan of the moon behind the trees
    5. 1:57 when the lyric says: Down now, Down now (but only the first time he says it. The second time is new.
    6. Whenever you see Kenshin looking up into the stars.
    7. When Kenshin unsheathes his sword in his dream and fades to black, then the next shot you see is the XCU of Kiyosato's eye getting focused at the lyric cue word: Go!

    The Meaning Behind the Clips
    =====================
    During the lyrics, almost every single clip and lyric match each other in some way or another. Simple ones such as "Will you follow me?" has Tomoe following Kenshin. But then there are other clips that you may not see or understand how it matches to the lyric. I will briefly explain some of the more iffy ones. Be foreworned, that these will contain some spoilers.
    The lyric will be placed first, then the meaning behind the clip
    :31 - Pleased to Meet you: Little kenshin is happy he's with the people who took care of them. He's known them for 3 days at that point, so in a sense, he was still getting to know them
    :31 - Nice to know me: This is a clip that goes against the lyric which happens a few times in the vid. If it's nice to know someone, then you wouldn't be walking away from them. In a sense, Kenshin would be the singing the lyric here.
    :45 - I've been waiting: Okay this is going to happen almost every time (if not every time) this lyric is sung. Someone will be alone, most likely kenshin, because he's waiting. Or he looks like he's waiting for something.
    :52 - Now is the answer: That's when kenshin makes up his mind and decides to kill for Katsura
    1:25 - Will you show me?: Suppose someone is telling you an unbelievable story. You demand proof...visual proof. So you insist on the storyteller to show you. You stand up signifying you're ready to go.
    1:35 - Now is the answer: I forget his name, but kenshin just defeated this person. The guy's answer to his defeat is suicide, but he's also trying to hurt kenshin in a way as well. IN this case, damaging his hearing.
    1:55 - Will you follow me?: Kenshin sees hair flowing behind him, he follows the flow of hair to see what it is. In the case of a character singing the lyric, it would probably be Tomoe
    3:24 - Pleased to meet you: Well upon seeing Tomoe after he was startled and awakened, he though Tomoe was an enemy and nearly killed her. This is another lyric that goes against the clip. He was obviously not pleased to see her....at first.
    3:28 - Nice to know me: Another clip that goes against the lyric. Tomoe plotted against killing kenshin. To her, knowing kenshin was not a nice thing.
    3:31 - What's the message: This is one of the only clips that has nothing to do with a lyric.

    That's about it for comments. Those of you who actually read all this, I thank you :)
    Please enjoy and remember that I love any and all opinions
