  I've been sitting on this video for over 2 years now, mostly because I didn't think it's all that great, but I finally figured that I might as well get it out there. Plus, with a PhD to work on, I didn't have the will, the stamina, or the time to get a completely new video ready for OTAKON this year (I tried, but it just didn't come together), so I tinkered around with this one until I got it into at least a somewhat presentable final product; and I admit that it grows on me with each viewing. We'll see what an audience thinks!
  
  "Full Moon O Sagashite" is one of the best shows I've seen in quite a while, and not just for the romance. But being the total sap that I am, I love it *mostly* for the romance! And experience has taught me that there are few things more difficult than being in love with someone who is constantly gushing over someone else. And you do everything in your power to help that person, hoping that one day he or she will begin to notice you and you'll no longer be invisible. Takuto's anguish is not caused by this issue alone, but everything else that he struggles with is intimately linked to this particular problem.
  
  I've been meaning to make this video since 2003; I saw the show and heard the song and I knew they would work together just perfectly. Takuto quickly became one of my favorite anime characters, and this is my tribute to him.
  
  Those people who are familiar with my videos will probably note that the editing style is pretty basic. I don't like to bury my stories under a lot of pomp and circumstance - I find it distracting and for the most part unnecessary. But I also wanted to try something a little different, so there's quite a lot of cross-dissolving. Overall, though, it's a very simple video - probably because it's a very simple song, so there isn't a whole lot you can do with it other than to just put the clips in and let the story tell itself.
