This is a direct parody of the Saiyuki opening "For Real" using footage from Rayearth. As many scenes as possible were parodied directly from the original video, requiring the use of Photoshop at several points to generate the needed clips.
This video was assembled in Premiere 5.1c over the span of a week (between classes), the source footage is from the DVD Memorial Collecion #1, and the audio is taken from a downloaded MPEG of the Saiyuki opening, converted to WAV.
